Ponrasu, an honest man, is at loggerheads with Sethupathi, an evil man. Impressed by his good nature, Pongothai falls for Ponrasu, but things take an ugly turn when Sethupathi wants to marry her.

Bhawani falls in love with Shankar, a kind man, and decides to get married to him. However, he disowns her and his family after he becomes a corrupted politician.
